The warmth of the church hugged you as you sat with your Husband and two children for early Christmas morning mass. Matthew sat playing nicely with his teddy bear, his brother, Alfred sat next to him. Arthur stood still quiet sleepy next to you. All of the sudden Matthew came over to you.
Mama?" He whined. You leaned down and took him in your arms. His big violet orbs staring into your (colour) orbs. "Al's got my bear
He started crying loudly and clung to you for dear life. A red blush painted on your face as people near you turned around to look at the noisy interrupting child. Many people 'tutted' as they glared at you, with beady eyes and disappointing frowns. "Shush sweetie, just wait till mass is over and I'll get you your bear back," You told him, he just cried louder. You turned to Arthur in desperation, tapping him on the shoulder. "Get the bear off Alfred for me, dear," you pleaded. He nodded and went to take the bear from Alfred to give to the endless crying Matthew.
Alfred saw this coming, his blue eyes lit up with an idea and he bolted it down the aisle. You were surprised how fast he was for a 3 and half year old. Arthur ran after him. By now every eye was on your husband and son. The embarrassment warmed your cheeks again and you felt queasy at the sight. To dust it off with a sprinkle of icing sugar the priest as Arthur to come up with Alfred.
Was he going to send us out? You thought. Maybe I should go up and apologise?
Matthew had stopped crying almost as if intrigued by what form of trouble his brother had landed in, until he felt you walk up the aisle, people's faces staring at him, making him panic. But he didn't cry, he was too shy to cry, instead he buried his head into your shoulder and didn't look up, clinging on your even tighter.
"I was going to get his bear from him, because he took it of his brother," Arthur explained.
"I'm so sorry," You apologised. The priest gave a hearty laugh and smiled.
"It is fine, my dear," He smiled. With a small sigh of relieve you walked back down the aisle.
Before you knew it mass had ended and you walked into the house with Alfred and Matthew's body clung to yours in innocent sleep. Francis pottered around in the kitchen humming while he cooked.
"Bonjour," he smiled. Arthur looked at you and frowned with his thick eyebrows, making you smile as they knitted together before carry the children up to bed. Arthur crept up behind you as you stood in the door way watching them sleep. He wrapped his arms around you and pecked a kiss on your cheeks that were rosy from the cold outdoors. "Merry Christmas Love" He whispered in your ear tickling you. You jerked away from him. "Aww, I'm sorry did I tickle you?" He said sarcastically a dark look shadowing over his face.
"No!" You begged as he full on attack you with tickles. You ended up in a ball on the floor, crying with laughter begging him to stop as it was pointless trying to attack back.
"Daddy and Mama, you woke us up!" Alfred said as he and Matthew stared at the pair of you on the floor. Arthur helped you up smiling at both of them.
"Well I think breakfast is ready," You smiled as you saw Matthew beam with excitement.
"PANCAKES!" He cried happily. You and Arthur laughed and went down stairs with the boys to get breakfast. Francis placed a plate of Pancakes in front of each of the boys and you. When everyone sat after eating till their plates were clean and Arthur had drained his teacup of tea, Francis said his farewells and drove home.

You sat snuggled up with Arthur. "Where are the boys?" You asked.
"Playing," Arthur smiled pointing to them both playing with their new toys.
"Aww, they're so good together," You beamed.
"Well most of the time," Arthur said reminding you of earlier on. It had been a long, happy Christmas day.
"Merry Christmas love," He whispered.
"Merry Christmas, dear," You whispered in reply. "Arthur, they're asleep."
He glanced back at the boys; it had been seconds since they were playing together and now both of them were cuddled up together, snoring away sweetly.
"We better put them to bed, "He yawned.
"And maybe ourselves as well," You suggested sarcastically.
You picked Alfred up in your arms and Arthur took Matthew. You placed them in bed before climbing into your own.
"I love you, Arthur," you smiled but you looked over at his face that was little up by the pale moonlight that seeped in he's green eyes were shut and snores erupted from him. You laughed to yourself. "I know. You love me too. "
You kissed his forehead and went to sleep as well.
